Mark as Useful I was told to pay $859.45 in 30 min or I will be served with papers and arrested and have a criminal background. I offered to pay payments - they put me on hold - then said I had to pay $500 now and in 3 days the balance. She gave me this # to call before I fax over a paper with my account #, exp date, code #.
When I tried to call back(through an operator) they said there is no listing for this #. I could not get through.
I faxed a letter expressing more info. She called me back 2 hrs later and said I had no right to call US Attorney @ 125 Park Ave in NYC(which she told me she represented) and she wouldn't tell me the note I was to pay off.
The 125 Park Ave had no listing of US Attorney ofice.
